Contestant Stuns ‘The Price Is Right’ with Quadruple Backflip

LOS ANGELES, CA — A contestant on ‘The Price Is Right‘ astounded both the audience and host Drew Carey with a breathtaking quadruple backflip after winning her prizes on the show’s March 31 episode.
Mia, the last contestant chosen from Bidder’s Row, made a bold $2,300 bid on a Hewlett-Packard 27-inch desktop computer, a webcam, and related accessories. When the actual retail price was revealed at $2,349, Mia emerged as the highest bidder, earning her a spot on stage.
On stage, an excited Mia grabbed Carey’s arms, jumped up and down, and exclaimed, “Hi, Drew!” Their animated moment continued as they spun in circles, drawing laughter from the host. Mia then played ‘One Wrong Price’ for the chance to win a karaoke package, a kayak, and a kitchen range.
Choosing the karaoke package priced at $1,800, Mia correctly identified that it was showing the wrong price as $793. Her joy was immediate; after confirming her choice, she completed four backflips across the stage, celebrating her win.
“Wow!” exclaimed Carey, clearly impressed by her acrobatic skills.
During the Showcase Showdown, Mia spun to a total of 100, winning an additional $1,000. As the bell rang to signify her victory, she gleefully grabbed Drew Cary again, bouncing with excitement. “I can’t believe this!” she shouted.
Returning for one more spin, Mia aimed for more winnings, achieving a 65 and earning a place in the Showcase round, since her opponents had surpassed 100. Mia then bid $30,000 on a lavish package that included designer luggage, language translators, and trips to Vietnam and South Africa.
After her bid was revealed to be only $6,658 under the total price of the showcase, Mia emerged victorious, walking away with an impressive haul valued at $47,098.
Mia’s episode aired on CBS as a part of ‘The Price Is Right,’ which broadcasts weekdays at 11 a.m. PST.
