The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the provisional answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2024. Candidates can find the answer key on the official website at ctet.nic.in.

The CTET was conducted on July 7, 2024, at test centers located across 136 cities in the country. This exam was split into two shifts: Paper II ran from 9:30 am to 12 pm, while Paper I took place from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.

Along with the answer key, CBSE has also made available the scanned copies of the OMR sheets for candidates to review their performance. To access the answer key, candidates will need to use their roll number and date of birth.

For those who wish to contest the answers provided, the board has opened an objection window, which will close on July 26, 2024. Candidates can raise objections by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹1,000 per question.

Importantly, the CTET qualifying certificate will be valid for a lifetime, with no limits on attempts to improve scores. A score of 60% or more will be considered a pass, according to the rules set by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

In a notable change, the mark sheets and eligibility certificates will now be provided in digital format through the DigiLocker, making them legally valid under the IT Act.

It’s worth mentioning that after the declaration of the results, there will be no re-evaluation or re-checking of the answers, and candidates will not receive individual notifications regarding their challenges.
