Eddie Benjamin and Shawn Mendes Release New Single ‘Home’

LOS ANGELES, CA — Eddie Benjamin and Shawn Mendes have teamed up for a new single called “Home.” The song was released along with a music video, showcasing the duo’s chemistry. This collaboration marks the latest project between the two artists, as Eddie is currently opening for Shawn on his tour.
In a statement, Eddie shared his thoughts on the collaboration, saying, “Creating ‘HOME’ with Shawn was a natural experience. I’m grateful to not only make music with my closest friends, but to do life with them, too.” Eddie and Shawn also worked together on Shawn’s self-titled album set to release in 2024.
The new single explores the theme of moving forward from the past, as the artists sing about two people ready to embrace new love. Their lyrics include, “Say, oh, we should fall in love with our eyes closed/ Better if we keep it where we don’t know.”
In addition to Benjamin and Mendes, Demi Lovato has also released a new song from her upcoming album, “It’s Not That Deep,” which will be available on October 24. The album aims to capture themes of romance and longing.
Moreover, David Guetta, Teddy Swims, and Tones and I have collaborated on a new track described as “a soaring soul-pop tribute to the powerful pull of toxic love, driven by undeniable dance-floor rhythms and clap-along gospel energy.”
In a related music note, Shakira has released a new song co-written by Ed Sheeran for Disney’s “Zootopia 2” soundtrack. Shakira voices the animated character Gazelle, Zootopia’s biggest pop star, in the upcoming film, set to hit theaters on November 26.
