Kawhi Leonard Debunks Haircut Rumors at Vegas Boxing Match

Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard made a recent appearance at a boxing event in Las Vegas to watch Gervonta Davis defend his WBA lightweight title against Frank Martin. A snapshot from the night captured by Cassy Athena initially sparked speculations that Leonard had chopped off his signature locs.

During the event, Leonard sported a brown short-sleeved shirt, black pants, and black sunglasses, in addition to what seemed like a shorter hairstyle. However, further footage revealed that Leonard had not actually cut his hair but had it styled differently, tied back as he often does during the NBA offseason.

Leonard, known for his braided hair since his early days in the NBA as a first-round pick by the San Antonio Spurs in 2011, had fans briefly questioning if a drastic change was in the works. Nevertheless, the photos and videos post-event confirmed that his locs remain intact.

The Clippers forward, who concluded the past season sidelined due to a knee injury, will soon need to decide on his participation in the Paris Olympics, potentially representing Team USA in the global competition.
