Fda Listeria Outbreak Pasta Meals

UNDATED, USA (WKRC/CNN Newsource) – The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has reported that a listeria outbreak linked to prepared pasta meals has expanded. The outbreak has resulted in two additional deaths and seven new illnesses, bringing the total number of affected individuals to 27 across 18 states.

As of now, there have been six confirmed fatalities and one fatal loss reported. Those affected have fallen ill after consuming ready-to-eat pasta salads and prepared meals supplied by Nate's Fine Foods. These products were sold in major grocery chains throughout the nation, including Trader Joe's, Sprouts Farmers Market, Kroger, and Walmart.

The FDA continues to investigate the source of the outbreak and has urged consumers to check their pantry for the recalled products. Health officials have emphasized the importance of food safety and have recommended that anyone experiencing symptoms reach out to their healthcare provider immediately.

Local health departments are closely monitoring the situation and working to prevent further spread as new cases are reported. Health authorities are advising the public to stay informed and cautious until the outbreak is fully resolved.
