Graduation Week Arrives in DeSoto County Schools

Desoto County High School Graduation Ceremonies

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. – High school seniors in the DeSoto County School District are ready to celebrate their graduation this week, marking a significant milestone in their educational journeys. The ceremonies for eight schools kick off on Tuesday, May 20, at 7 p.m. with DeSoto Central High School.

Graduation festivities continue with Southaven High School on Wednesday, May 21, followed by Lewisburg High School on May 22, and Hernando High School on May 23, each starting at 7 p.m. The busiest day will be Saturday, May 24, starting with Olive Branch High School at 10 a.m., Lake Cormorant High School at 3 p.m., and Center Hill High School capping off the day at 7 p.m. Horn Lake High School will conclude the ceremonies on Sunday, May 25 at 3 p.m.

All ceremonies are held at the Landers Center in Southaven, which has implemented a Clear Bag Policy and operates as a cashless venue for concessions. Attendees are advised to prepare for heavy traffic around the venue during these times.
