LOS ANGELES, CA — Halle Berry, 59, flaunted her figure in a two-toned string bikini from Monday Swimwear in a recent Instagram post. The Oscar-winning actress shared the image on Sunday, walking barefoot away from the camera across a desert landscape. Berry captioned the playful post, “Looks like I’m going the wrong way, but I’m not… just going my own way!”

While showcasing her toned body, Berry strategically covered a sunflower tattoo on her lower back with her arm. The tattoo was originally meant to conceal her ex-husband David Justice‘s name, which she has since regretted. In a 2012 interview with InStyle, she called getting the name inked on her body “a dumb thing to do.”

The sunflower tattoo holds a symbolic meaning for Berry: “When darkness descends, they close up to regenerate,” she explained in an interview with Cosmopolitan UK. Despite this, she admitted she wishes she had never gotten the tattoo in the first place.

This bikini has become a favorite for the actress. Just last month, she wore the same bikini during her birthday trip to Bora Bora, where she was also spotted showing off her figure while lounging by the turquoise waters. Berry enjoyed that vacation with her boyfriend, singer-songwriter Van Hunt, whom she has been dating since 2020.

Berry also posted fun moments from her Bora Bora trip, which included jet-skiing and playful captures with Hunt against the backdrop of the island’s scenery. One of her captions playfully addressed her maternal instincts, stating, “Phew…! cooking, cleaning and mothering,” leaving fans entertained with her witty remarks.
