Harry and Meghan Attend Charity Concert for First Responders in California

Montecito, California – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a surprise joint appearance at a charity concert on Saturday, September 20, 2025, held at actor Kevin Costner‘s oceanside estate. The event raises funds for essential equipment and mental wellness programs for Santa Barbara County’s first responders.
This year’s concert featured performances by artists including Trisha Yearwood, Good Charlotte, and The Fray. Meghan wore a midnight blue sleeveless shirtdress paired with tan heels, while Harry donned a dark jacket and pants.
The couple’s attendance marked their first public outing since Harry’s recent trip to the U.K. There, he had a series of charity engagements, including a visit to the Invictus Games Foundation in Ukraine, which supports wounded and sick armed forces members. After the concert, Harry presented an award to Santa Barbara County Fire Chief Mark Hartwig.
Last year, Harry attended a different event to honor a Santa Barbara County air support pilot. He has been actively involved in fundraising for first responders in California since moving to the area in 2020.
Harry’s visit to the U.K. included a reunion with his father, King Charles III, after nearly two years. During this trip, he expressed a desire to reconnect with family, stating he had “loved catching up with family, friends, and colleagues.” A source mentioned that the visit felt like a “real success” and underscored Harry’s passion for his causes.
As the event concluded, Harry and Meghan were seen mingling with guests, highlighting their commitment to supporting local communities in California. The couple left the concert holding hands, showcasing their unity amidst their ongoing journey rebuilding family ties.
