LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The 2025 high school football season reaches a crucial moment as teams enter the playoffs. Week 11 of the Nebraska State Activities Association (NSAA) playoffs kicked off with intense matchups spreading across various classes.

In Class 9A, Winnebago dominated Todd County of South Dakota with a score of 36-8, securing their pathway in the playoffs. Other significant wins came from Millard South, who overwhelmed Elkhorn South 48-3, and Omaha Westside took down Kearney 35-7.

High-stakes games continued with Papillion-LaVista South edging Millard North 36-26. In Class B, powerhouse Bennington defeated Elkhorn North 42-7, while Gretna triumphed over York 35-21.

The action was fierce in Class C1 as Ashland-Greenwood cruised past Syracuse 56-16. Columbus Lakeview also showcased their strength, overpowering Aurora with a shutout score of 45-0.

Class C2 featured a nail-biter as Bishop Neumann clinched a narrow victory over Yutan 30-26. Grand Island Central Catholic also moved forward by defeating Bergan 31-14.

Meanwhile, in Class D1, Plainview scored a remarkable 64-44 victory against Dundy County Stratton. Sandy Creek managed to keep Bridgeport at bay, winning 45-6. St. Mary’s outclassed Sandhills-Thedford, finishing strong at 66-24.

As the playoffs progress, many teams are turning the heat up, looking to secure their spots in the state finals. The next round of matches promises thrilling action and unforgettable moments as teams strive for glory.
