John Brown University Mabee Learning Resource Center Renovation

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. — John Brown University (JBU) announced Monday that it has completed a $2.5 million challenge grant from the Mabee Foundation. This funding will support the ongoing renovation of the Mabee Learning Resource Center (LRC).

To qualify for the grant, JBU was required to raise $2.7 million from individuals, foundations, or businesses, specifically for the LRC renovation, by January 9. The university successfully reached that goal, which enabled them to secure the full grant from the Mabee Foundation.

The LRC, which was built in 1980, represents the last of JBU’s buildings in need of renovation. The updated facility aims to enhance the learning experience for students at the university.
