Larry David Returns with Final Season of ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’
The highly anticipated final season of the long-running comedy series, ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm‘, created and starring Larry David, is set to premiere on Sunday night. David has been busy with promotions leading up to the premiere, and fans are expecting a hilarious conclusion to the show that has been entertaining audiences for years.
The logline for the first episode of Season 12, titled ‘Atlanta’, reveals that Larry will be heading to Georgia for a prominent businessman’s birthday party, while his friend Leon takes the opportunity to visit his Auntie Rae.
In the trailer for the season, released last month, Larry can be seen engaging in humorous bickers with his regular sparring partners including Cheryl Hines, Richard Lewis, Ted Danson, and Susie Essman. The star-studded guest list includes Dan Levy, Sean Hayes, Vince Vaughn, and Tracey Ullman, who reprises her role as City Councilwoman Irma Kostroski. Jeff Garlin and J.B. Smoove will also be returning to the series.
Although Larry David has often announced that the show will come to an end, this time HBO has confirmed that Season 12 will indeed be the final season of ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’. In a statement, David humorously mentioned that he will be able to shed his “Larry David” persona and become his true self once the show concludes. He also shared that he will be embarking on a tour to discuss ‘Seinfeld’, ‘Curb’, and more, with the first stop in Washington, D.C., on March 29.
