Laufey Concert A Matter Of Time Tour

GLENDALE, Ariz. — Laufey, the Icelandic pop sensation, will perform at Desert Diamond Arena on Tuesday, Sept. 23, as part of her A Matter of Time Tour. The tour, which began on Sept. 15 in Orlando, Florida, celebrates her latest album, “A Matter of Time,” which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard album chart in late August, marking a career high for the artist.

In addition to its impressive Billboard ranking, Laufey’s album topped the U.S. Independent, Vinyl, and Jazz Albums charts and achieved No. 1 status in both Australia and Iceland. Laufey, who was raised between Reykjavik and Washington, D.C., has gained admiration for her blend of jazz and classical-inflected pop, resonating deeply with a young audience navigating modern dating dynamics.

Critics have praised Laufey’s new work, highlighting its lyrical relevance. A recent review described the album as “steeped in glamour and glitz,” drawing comparisons to legends like Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald, while also capturing contemporary themes such as online dating.

The Glendale concert is expected to showcase tracks from the new album, as well as popular songs from her earlier work, including the double-platinum hit “From the Start.” Opening for Laufey will be Suki Waterhouse, an English actress-singer-model known for her role in “Daisy Jones & The Six.”

Doors for the event will open at 6:30 p.m., with the show starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are currently available, starting at $64.10. Fans planning to attend should be aware of the arena’s bag policy, which allows small bags such as clutches and wristlets but prohibits larger items.

Desert Diamond Arena is located at 9400 W. Maryland Ave. in Glendale, Arizona. Parking options vary in cost, from $15 to $75, depending on location, and guests are encouraged to purchase prepaid parking for expedited access to the venue.
