Motorola has officially launched a new budget-friendly smartphone in India known as the Moto G45 5G. This entry-level device comes equipped with several notable features including support for Dolby Atmos, a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset. The smartphone is powered by a substantial 5,000 mAh battery.

The Moto G45 5G will be available for purchase through Flipkart, competing with several other budget smartphones such as the Realme C63 5G, Poco M6 Pro, Samsung Galaxy M14, and Lava Blaze 5G.

In terms of pricing, the Moto G45 5G has been launched in two variants: the 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage model is offered at a price of Rs 10,999, while the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 12,999. Customers can choose from three color options: Brilliant Blue, Viva Magneta, and Brilliant Green.

The sale for the Moto G45 5G will commence in India on August 28 at 12 PM, available for purchase on both Flipkart and Motorola’s official India website. Additionally, there will be sale offers which include an instant discount of Rs 1,000 on transactions made using Axis Bank and IDFC Bank credit cards, valid until September 10. Furthermore, customers will benefit from offers worth Rs 5,000, which includes Rs 2,000 cashback and Rs 3,000 in vouchers.

The specifications of the Moto G45 5G feature a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The device is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, coupled with an Adreno GPU, drives the performance of the device, alongside support for up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, expandable via microSD card.

The smartphone operates on Android 14 OS, with Motorola promising an upgrade to Android 15 and three years of security updates. In terms of camera capabilities, the dual rear camera system consists of a 50MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP macro lens, while the front features a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Regarding battery life, the Moto G45 5G houses a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 20W fast charging. An 18W adapter is included in the box for charging purposes. Connectivity options are extensive, including support for 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Additionally, the smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, and has an IP52 rating along with stereo speakers.
