Local Students Achieve Academic Honors at Drake University

DES MOINES, Iowa — Five local students have been recognized for their academic excellence at Drake University by being named to the Dean’s and President’s Lists for the Fall 2024 semester.
Among those honored, Fiona Martin of the Arts & Sciences major achieved the President’s List, which requires a perfect 4.0 GPA. Joining her on the Dean’s List are Sarah Chastain (Arts & Sciences), Brooklyn Lowry (Pharmacy & Health Sciences), Julianna Richardson (Zimpleman College of Business), and Dalton Visconti (Zimpleman College of Business), all of whom maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must meet a GPA threshold, while the President’s List recognizes those who attain the highest possible academic score. Drake University, a distinguished private institution, prides itself on fostering a rigorous academic environment.
