MCC to Announce NEET PG 2024 AIQ Counselling Schedule

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is poised to release the detailed schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 All India Quota (AIQ) counselling. Interested candidates can access the schedule on the MCC’s official website, mcc.nic.in.

In a social media post on platform X, Lakshya Mittal, national president of the United Doctors Front Association (UDFA), indicated that the tentative counselling schedule should be available within the next two to three days. His post stated, “UPDATE: #NEETPG 2024 counselling: NEET-PG 2024 tentative counselling schedule is expected to be updated within next 2-3 days. We urge all aspirants to stay tuned for further updates. All the best.”

The registration for NEET PG 2024 counselling commenced on September 20, 2024. Despite the start of registration, the complete scheduling details, such as registration dates, seat allotment results, and reporting deadlines, are yet to be announced. Once published, candidates will be able to select their preferred colleges and courses via the official MCC portal.

The NEET PG 2024 merit list for 50% of the All India Quota seats was publicly disclosed on September 5, 2024, marking those listed as eligible for the seat allotment process. The NEET PG 2024 examination was conducted on August 11, and results were announced on August 23, 2024.

Typically, NEET PG counselling includes four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, the mop-up round, and the stray vacancy round. Following registration, the exam authorities release seat allocation results, enabling candidates to submit their institution and course preferences.
