Microsoft Includes Complimentary Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscriptions with Gaming PCs
Microsoft has recently introduced a promotion where buyers of select Windows-powered gaming PCs are receiving a complimentary three-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. This subscription grants access to a vast library of games on both PC and Xbox gaming consoles, allowing users to enjoy a wide range of titles at no extra cost.
These gaming PCs come preloaded with the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, providing a convenient way for users to dive into popular AAA games across supported devices. To activate the Game Pass subscription, users need a Microsoft account, which links the subscription to their account for easy access on various devices.
Redeeming the Xbox Game Pass subscription is a straightforward process. Users can log in to the Microsoft Store on their Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC, locate the subscription under the ‘included with device’ section in the library, and claim it by adding a payment option, typically a credit or debit card.
After the initial three months, users will be automatically charged Rs 549 per month if the subscription is not canceled. It’s important to note that if a user has previously redeemed an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, they may not be able to claim an additional pass even with a new device; a new Microsoft account may be required.
Alternatively, users can also redeem the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription via the Xbox app, where they simply need to click on the ‘redeem Xbox Game Pass Ultimate’ banner on the home page. This method also involves adding a payment method for the subscription.
Microsoft offers two main variants of Xbox Game Pass: the PC Games Pass, priced at Rs 349 per month, which provides access to over 100 PC-exclusive games, and the Game Pass Ultimate, available for Rs 549 per month, offering a selection of 100+ games for both PC and Xbox consoles. These subscriptions can be purchased digitally or through physical gift cards.
