Miley Cyrus Releases New Single ‘Secrets’ Featuring Fleetwood Mac Members

LOS ANGELES, CA – Miley Cyrus has released her new single “Secrets” featuring Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood from Fleetwood Mac. The song is part of the deluxe edition of her album “Something Beautiful,” which hit stores on September 19, 2025.
“Secrets/I want to keep your secrets,” sings Cyrus, showcasing her distinct style paired with a legendary rhythm section. In her Instagram announcement, she shared that the song reflects a personal journey. “This song was written as a peace offering for someone I had lost for a time but always loved. In my experience, forgiveness and freedom are one and the same,” she wrote.
The collaboration with Fleetwood Mac was hinted at by Billy Ray Cyrus in August when he revealed that his daughter wrote the song as a birthday gift for him, expressing gratitude for the musicians involved. “For my birthday, Miley gave me the gift of music and wrote me a song called ‘Secrets’ and got my favorite musicians Fleetwood Mac to play on it!” he posted.
“Secrets” is one of two new tracks included in the deluxe edition, alongside “Lockdown,” featuring David Byrne. This release follows Cyrus’s earlier album, which debuted in May 2025 and included contributions from various artists.
Miley’s previous works have also connected her to Fleetwood Mac, including a mash-up of her hit “Midnight Sky” with Stevie Nicks’ “Edge of Seventeen” in 2020. As she prepares for the 20th anniversary of her iconic role in “Hannah Montana,” she teased plans for a special celebration in March 2026.
“Without Hannah, there really wouldn’t be this kind of … this me,” she reflected. “It’s so crazy to think, too, that I started as a character that I thought was going to be impossible to shed.”
