Monster Hunter Wilds Beta Gameplay

Capcom‘s highly anticipated game, *Monster Hunter Wilds*, is set to release on February 28, 2025, across multiple platforms including PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S.

The game is currently in its open beta phase, which began on October 31, 2024, and will run until November 3, 2024. This beta test is cross-platform, allowing players on different systems to participate together. The initial stage of the beta was exclusive to PlayStation Plus members from October 28 to 30.

Data miners have uncovered several unannounced monsters that will be included in the game, such as Gravios, Nerscylla, Gypceros, and Gore Magala. These monsters have not been seen in the series since 2018’s *Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate*, except for Gore Magala, which appeared in 2022’s *Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak*.

The beta test has already garnered significant interest, with nearly 25,000 Steam users running the beta version even before it officially began. Participating in the beta will reward players with consumables and a cosmetic item, and their hunter and Palico companion created during the beta will be transferable to the full game.

*Monster Hunter Wilds* promises to be the most expansive entry in the series yet, featuring a 3D map, new mechanics, and the removal of gender-locked armor. The game will offer dynamic, ever-changing environments and a rich storyline involving the balance between humans and monsters).
