NDA Pledges Commitment to National Progress and Empowerment of the Poor: Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on October 17, emphasized the commitment of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to advancing national progress and empowering marginalized communities. This declaration came following a meeting attended by NDA chief ministers and deputy chief ministers. The meeting took place after the swearing-in ceremony of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and his ministerial team.
In a statement on the social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi remarked, “We had extensive discussions on aspects of good governance and ways to improve people’s lives. Our alliance is committed to furthering national progress and empowering the poor and downtrodden.”
The congregation of NDA leaders included notable figures such as Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah, alongside BJP President JP Nadda. These discussions are part of the NDA’s broader strategy to capitalize on their recent success in the Haryana assembly elections. Their focus now shifts towards upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand.
