For the NEET UG 2024 exam, the NTA has introduced some important guidelines and updates. Candidates are advised to download their admit cards from the official NTA website or the Education Portal of HT to stay informed about the latest exam details.

The NEET UG entrance test will be held in a single shift from 2 PM to 5:20 PM on the specified date. Students from various states across India, as well as those outside the country, will participate in this exam to showcase their medical knowledge and skills.

As per the Exam Guidelines, candidates need to carry a printed copy of their Admit Card, along with additional documents like a passport-size photograph, and a valid photo ID proof during the examination. Failure to comply with these guidelines may restrict entry into the exam hall.

On the day of the exam, candidates must adhere to the specific dress code outlined by the NTA. Heavy clothes, long sleeves, and certain accessories are not permitted inside the examination center to maintain fairness and discipline during the assessment process.

The NTA also emphasizes the importance of candidates following strict guidelines related to banned items inside the exam hall. Prohibited items include communication devices, study materials, electronic gadgets, food items, and any other potential means of cheating.

To facilitate a smooth exam experience, the NTA will allocate exam centers and timings to candidates based on their preferences during the registration process. It is essential for students to reach their designated exam centers well in advance and carry all necessary documents for verification.
