New Delhi, India – The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduates (NEET UG 2025) on June 14. Candidates can now check their scorecards on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.

To access the result, students must enter their application number, date of birth, and security pin. The scorecard includes subject-wise marks, total score, percentile, All India Rank (AIR), and qualifying status. Additionally, the final answer key has been released.

In a competitive year, over 22 lakh candidates registered for the exam, with approximately 12.36 lakh qualifying for admissions to medical and dental programs. Mahesh Kumar from Rajasthan achieved the top score with a percentile of 99.9999547, securing AIR 1.

NTA will issue a press note including names of top scorers, category-wise statistics, and details on merit rankings. The merit list will reveal the top 50 to 100 candidates, while individual scorecards will be accessible only to the respective candidates.

Following the result announcement, qualified candidates can participate in the NEET UG 2025 counselling process. This will be managed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the All India Quota (AIQ) and by individual state authorities for their respective quotas.

The cut-off marks released indicate a drop from previous years, with the general category cut-off now at 686-144 and the qualifying percentile for General candidates fixed at the 50th percentile.

Students are encouraged to keep their registered email addresses and mobile numbers active for seamless access to their results and future communications regarding the admission process.

The NEET exam has proven essential for aspiring medical professionals, acting as the gateway to over 1.5 lakh MBBS and BDS seats across India. Candidates are advised to check the NTA website regularly for updates on the counselling schedules.
