Ola Launches Pro Electric Motorcycle

Ola Electric has just unveiled its latest creation, the Pro electric motorcycle, in India. This innovative bike comes in two battery variants: 8kWh and 16kWh, with prices starting at Rs 2 lakh for the smaller battery model and reaching Rs 2.5 lakh for the larger one.

The star of the show is the 52kW motor that delivers a robust 105Nm of peak torque. If you opt for the 16kWh version, you’ll be thrilled to know that it can rocket from 0 to 60 km/h in just 1.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 194 km/h. It offers an impressive range as well, allowing riders to cover up to 579 km on a single charge.

In terms of design, the Roadster Pro features a steel frame with the battery cleverly housed where you would usually find an internal combustion engine. The bike’s suspension system includes an USD fork at the front and a monoshock at the back, while safety is prioritized with two disc brakes in the front and one at the rear, all equipped with ABS.

Ola has packed the Roadster Pro with exciting features, including a high-tech 10-inch TFT touchscreen display. Riders can enjoy four distinct ride modes: Hyper, Sport, Normal, and Eco. Plus, there are two customizable modes available as well.

Looking ahead, Ola plans to introduce the MoveOS 5 software update, which will bring new features like three-step traction control, anti-wheelie technology, geofencing, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).

Starting from August 15, customers can make reservations for the 8kWh variant, with deliveries expected to begin in the fourth quarter of FY 2026.
