Playstation Concert Tour Cancellation News

LOS ANGELES, CA — PlayStation has abruptly canceled nearly all remaining US dates for its concert tour, PlayStation: The Concert, originally scheduled for 2025. Organizers GEA Live confirmed that performances in cities such as Atlanta, Cleveland, and Detroit have been called off, leaving fans disappointed.

The concert series, which began in the UK earlier this year, features music from popular PlayStation games composed by artists like Gustavo Santaolalla, Joris De Man, and Ilan Eshkeri. A spokesperson for GEA Live expressed regret over the decision, stating, “Our team has spent a considerable amount of time developing this project, and we share in the disappointment of fans who will no longer be able to attend.”

Ticketmaster listings indicate that shows in several major cities, including New York, Washington D.C., and Chicago, have also been canceled. Currently, only one concert in Red Bank, New Jersey, on November 11, remains open, but ticket sales for this show have been notably low.

Despite the turmoil in the US tour, the concert series had previously enjoyed a successful run in Europe. However, reports emerged of similar issues regarding attendance in cities like Poland and Sweden, calling into question the overall reception of the tour.

Amid the cancellations, many fans took to social media to express their frustration, with comments ranging from disappointment to anger. “Damn, I was actually looking forward to this,” wrote one user.

As of now, PlayStation: The Concert is still scheduled to have more than 25 dates lined up for early 2026 in locations such as San Francisco and Toronto. However, it remains uncertain if these dates will proceed without further changes.
