Pro Kabaddi League Season 11

The highly anticipated 11th season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) is set to commence on Friday, October 18, at the GMC Balayogi Sports Complex in Hyderabad. The opening match will feature the home team, Telugu Titans, against the former champions, Bengaluru Bulls. This match will be followed by a clash between Dabang Delhi K.C. and U Mumba, marking the second game of the opening day.

This season, PKL will return to its three-city format, beginning with the first leg from October 18 to November 9. Subsequently, the second leg will take place at the Noida Indoor Stadium starting November 10. The final leg of the league stages will be hosted at the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune from December 3 to December 24. The dates and venue for the playoffs will be announced by the league officials at a later date.

Each matchday during the league phase will consist of double-headers, with the first game commencing at 8:00 PM IST followed by the second at 9:00 PM IST. A total of 137 matches, including the playoffs, will be held across three months in this edition of the PKL.

All 12 teams have assembled formidable squads for the league, thanks to strategic retentions and smart purchases made during the Season 11 Player Auction held in mid-August. The opening day is set to feature three former champion teams in action, adding to the excitement.

On the second day of PKL 11, the league promises an intriguing southern derby as Telugu Titans compete once again. The day will also see a repeat of last season’s final between Puneri Paltan and the Haryana Steelers.

Tickets for the matches can be purchased through the official Pro Kabaddi website and app. Fans can catch the live action on the Star Sports Network and Disney+ Hotstar, while also staying updated via Pro Kabaddi’s official social media channels.

This edition features 12 teams, each led by a captain and coached by experienced personnel. Some notable mentions are Bengal Warriorz under Fazel Atrachali with coach Prashant Surve, and Tamil Thalaivas captained by Sagar Rathee and coached by Udaya Kumar. Fans are eagerly awaiting the thrilling displays from their favorite teams and players across this three-month-long league season.
