Roedean School (SA) proudly celebrates the Class of 2023 Matriculants for their stellar performance, achieving an impeccable 100% pass rate. Every student has triumphed, unlocking the golden opportunity to embark on their journey of tertiary education.
Known for a rich history of academic excellence and creating future leaders, Roedean is proud of the Class of 2023 for upholding this tradition through their dedication, focus, and enthusiasm.
Annabel Roberts, Head of Senior School at Roedean, emphasised the significance of these achievements, stating, ‘While distinctions capture attention, it’s the broader statistics that truly deserve celebration. Roedean’s commitment to setting up every student for success is evident.’
Roberts, who joined the school in January 2023, acknowledged the dedication of Roedean’s teachers and tutors, highlighting their crucial role in supporting students to reach their potential. She also expressed gratitude to parents for their guidance and encouragement, playing a pivotal role in the success of the Class of 2023.
Reflecting on Roedean’s mission since its founding in 1903, Lindi Dlamini, the Executive Director of Roedean, affirmed the school’s continued commitment to empowering young women for their rightful place as global citizens making their mark in the world and advancing gender equality.
Dlamini has been at the helm of Roedean as Executive Director of Roedean since January 2023 and is the first black woman to be in this role in the 120 years history of Roedean. She has a wealth of leadership experience with 20 years executive leadership experience. She serves as an Independent Non-Executive for a bank and wealth management firm.
The success of the Class of 2023 is a testament to Roedean’s core values, heritage, and holistic approach, shaping well-rounded individuals who excel not only academically but also in sports, debate, communication, and language.
