Recent leaks suggest that Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S24 FE, the toned-down version of the vanilla Galaxy S24. According to reports from Elec, the Galaxy S24 FE could be unveiled between June and August this year. It is also speculated that Samsung may introduce the Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Watch 7 series at the same event.
Past leaks indicate that the Galaxy S24 FE might feature a 6.1-inch AMOLED display and could be powered by either the Exynos 2400 SoC or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, depending on the market. The device is rumored to come with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offer storage options of 128GB and 256GB using UFS 3.1 technology.
Reports suggest that the phone could house a 4,500mAh battery. The Galaxy S24 FE is expected to include either the Exynos 2400 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, similar to what is found in the vanilla Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Ultra models. As such, it remains to be seen if the new FE model will have similar specifications to its predecessor.
Regarding memory and storage specifications, reliable sources hint that the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE may come with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and storage options up to 256GB of UFS 4.0. The inclusion of LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 standards is expected to enhance the overall performance of the upcoming phone.
