School Closings and Delays Due to Dense Fog Advisory in Miami Valley
A Dense Fog Advisory issued for the Miami Valley has resulted in several school closings and delays in the region. As of November 20, 2024, multiple schools have reported delays or decided to close due to the hazardous driving conditions caused by the dense fog.
In Clark County, schools such as Clark-Shawnee Local Schools and Northwestern Local Schools are operating on two-hour delays. Similarly, in Greene County, Cedar Cliff and Greeneview Local Schools have also implemented two-hour delays.
In Miami County, Miami East Local and Newton Local Schools are opening two hours late to ensure student and staff safety during the foggy conditions.
