Sexual Assault Complaint Filed Against JD(S) MLC Suraj Revanna

A sexual assault complaint has been lodged against Janata Dal (Secular) MLC, Suraj Revanna, the brother of Prajwal Revanna, alleging wrongful confinement, criminal intimidation, and unnatural offences.

The complaint was registered at the Holenarasipura police station in Hassan district by a man who claimed that he was sexually assaulted by Suraj at a farmhouse in Gannikada on June 16.

The complainant detailed that Suraj forcibly kissed and bit him, threatening him with harm if he did not comply during the alleged assault.

Suraj reportedly mentioned his family’s political influence, including his grandfather H.D. Deve Gowda and uncle H.D. Kumaraswamy, as well as claiming support from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

The police swiftly took Suraj Revanna to the Cyber Economic and Narcotics Crime (CEN) police station in Hassan for questioning and evidence collection.

Suraj has denied the allegations, labeling them as part of a political conspiracy and expressing confidence that the investigation would uncover the truth.
