Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban Debuts on Paris Fashion Week Runway
Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, the daughter of Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman and musician Keith Urban, made her debut appearance at Paris Fashion Week, stepping into the modeling world with a strong showing on the runway for Miu Miu‘s Spring/Summer 2025 womenswear show. At just 16 years old, she walked alongside seasoned models such as Cara Delevingne and Hilary Swank, showcasing a white ensemble paired with black heels featuring a white trim and grey leg warmers.
Despite her impressive catwalk debut, it was Sunday Rose’s accent that caught the attention of many viewers. Growing up between the United States and Australia has given her a unique accent. “I’ve been wanting to do this for so long, so when the offer came through, it was really exciting,” she expressed in an interview with Vogue, also recounting her shopping experiences in Paris.
This hybrid accent, described by one online viewer as “a southern drawl mixed with a twinge of Australian,” has sparked a vibrant discussion online. “Australian meets Appalachian,” another commenter described, while some only perceived an American tone, noting the absence of any Australian twang.
Although Nicole Kidman was not present at Sunday’s runway show, she was seen at the after-party, proudly posing with her daughter. Kidman, who also recently attended the Balenciaga Womenswear Spring/Summer 2025 show, has been navigating her public appearances following the recent passing of her mother, Janelle Kidman, at the age of 84.
The Paris Fashion Week event was also attended by prominent figures, including actor Willem Dafoe. Sunday’s participation in the prestigious fashion week coincided with her launch on Instagram, where she collaborated with Miu Miu, marking a new chapter in her burgeoning modeling career.
