Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Magic The Gathering

NEW YORK, Oct. 10, 2025 — The beloved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are set to make their debut in the popular trading card game Magic: The Gathering. Wizards of the Coast has announced that the crossover will release on March 6, 2026, featuring an array of products and new gameplay mechanics inspired by the iconic franchise.

During the New York Comic Con, Wizards of the Coast revealed a preview of the new set, titled Magic: The Gathering | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The set aims to bridge the gap between longtime fans of the Turtles and new players of Magic. Team leader Leonardo, as well as fellow Turtles Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo, will headline the new cards illustrated by TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman.

“The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise spans generations, both in its media and in its fans,” the developers stated. “With this set, we’re reaching out to players both new and old to offer them a new style of Magic.”

The set will include various products including Play and Collector Boosters, Preconstructed Commander decks, and a new product called the Turtle Team-Up Bundle, designed for cooperative play. The gameplay features new mechanics like “Sneak,” which allows players to cast spells by returning unblocked attackers to their hand.

Magic: The Gathering will also introduce “Pizza Lands,” creatively themed basic lands that reflect the Turtles’ love for pizza. Fans can expect a variety of cards showcasing beloved characters like April O'Neil and villains such as Shredder and Krang.

As anticipation builds, preorder options are already available through various retailers. The introduction of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles into the Magic universe is set to excite both old fans of the Turtles and devoted players of the card game.

“If you grew up watching the adventures of Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo, you can share those stories with a new generation of Magic players,” Wizards added. More updates and card reveals are expected leading up to the March release.
