Texas Roadhouse Mini Rolls To Hit Grocery Freezers After Successful Test Run

Texas Roadhouse has officially confirmed that their popular mini rolls will soon be hitting the grocery store freezer aisles following rumors circulating online. The chain’s public relations team clarified that an 8-week test is currently underway in select locations in Indiana, Kentucky, and parts of Ohio, with Walmart stores playing a crucial role.

According to Texas Roadhouse’s PR team, about 80 stores in Ohio will participate in this test, primarily in Eastern and Central Ohio. While the scheduled on-shelf date is June 29, some Walmart outlets have already stocked the product, causing a buzz on social media platforms.

The Texas Roadhouse team emphasized that while the rolls are undeniably best when freshly baked in their restaurants, the frozen version offers a tasty alternative for consumers. The mini rolls product is inspired by the chain’s renowned made-from-scratch rolls and features a honey cinnamon glaze that customers have come to love.

Food influencers such as Markie Devo from Brooklyn, who calls himself the ‘Willy freaking Wonka of Brooklyn,’ took to Instagram to share details about the impending grocery store release. In his post, he mentioned that the Texas Roadhouse Mini Rolls will include 12 mini rolls in a ready-to-bake pan, closely mimicking the taste, aroma, and texture of the restaurant version.

Another social media influencer, snachwithzach from Tik Tok, also shared his thoughts on the mini rolls in a video segment. He speculated that if the test run proves successful, the rolls could potentially become a nationwide grocery store staple in the near future, similar to the company’s steak and gold sauces.

The Texas Roadhouse Mini Rolls have garnered a devoted following over the years, with numerous websites and posts offering ‘dupe’ recipes and alternative products to recreate the signature flavor and glaze at home.
