Former President Donald Trump has ignited controversy with his recent remarks at a rally in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, where he made vulgar comments about the late golf legend Arnold Palmer. During the event, which was part of Trump’s final pitch to voters with just over two weeks until Election Day, Trump spent over 10 minutes reminiscing about Palmer, who was a hometown hero in Latrobe.

Trump’s speech took a lewd turn when he shared an anecdote about Palmer’s genitalia, describing how other golfers reacted after seeing him in the shower. Trump said, “Arnold Palmer was all man… This guy was strong and tough. I refuse to say it, but when he took showers with the other pros, they came out of there, they said, ‘Oh my God, that’s unbelievable.'” This comment has been widely criticized for its vulgarity and inappropriateness.

In addition to the comments about Palmer, Trump also used profanity to attack Vice President Kamala Harris, further escalating the controversy surrounding his speech. Trump’s remarks were part of a broader critique of his political rivals and included various other topics, such as false claims about the 2020 election and personal grievances.

Arnold Palmer’s daughter, Peg Palmer, has spoken out against Trump’s comments, stating that her father would not have appreciated such “locker room talk.” Her response highlights the widespread criticism Trump has faced for his inappropriate and disrespectful remarks.
