American broadcaster Tucker Carlson, ousted from Fox News following the Dominion lawsuit settlement, has found refuge in the quiet town of Bryant Pond, Maine. Carlson now hosts Tucker Carlson Uncensored, a talk show streamed on Elon Musk‘s X, featuring unconventional guests and controversial topics.

Recently, flight records revealed that Carlson flew from Maine’s capital, Portland, to Brisbane in mining mogul Clive Palmer‘s luxurious Bombardier Global 6000 jet, marking his arrival in Australia for the upcoming Australian Freedom Conferences.

Palmer, known for his eccentricities and political endeavors, teamed up with Carlson for the conferences aimed at sparking discussions on freedom and societal issues in Australia. The duo held a press conference in Brisbane, showcasing their alliance before jetting off to Cairns for the first event.

The Australian Freedom Conferences, backed by Palmer, are set to feature Carlson as the headline speaker. The events aim to rally Australians to stand up for their rights and secure a better future for themselves and their families.

Remarkably, it’s been nearly a decade since Palmer brought former US vice-president Al Gore to Australia for a similar cause. The juxtaposition of these two figures in Australian politics reflects the diverse and often unconventional landscape of activism and discourse in the country.
