London, EnglandVirginia Giuffre‘s brother, Sky Roberts, is calling on King Charles III to remove Prince Andrew‘s title as he has recently announced plans to relinquish his other royal honors. This comes after Giuffre’s claims that Prince Andrew sexually assaulted her when she was a minor.

Reports indicate that Andrew sought details about Giuffre through police protection in 2011, shortly before a photo of their meeting was published. Giuffre, an alleged victim of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, claimed she was forced to have sex with Andrew on three occasions, including when she was just 17 years old.

Giuffre’s brother spoke to BBC Newsnight, expressing pride in the steps taken against Andrew but insisting that the King should go further. “I think anybody that was implicated… should have some sort of responsibility and accountability for these survivors,” Roberts stated.

The Sunday Times reported that the Prince of Wales, William, is not satisfied with Andrew’s decision to give up his titles and is considering barring him from attending his coronation. Andrew announced last week that he would return his titles, including the Duke of York, following discussions with the royal family.

This situation has intensified scrutiny over Prince Andrew’s past connections with Epstein. In a recent statement, Andrew expressed regret that the “continued accusations” distract from the work of the royal family, while he vehemently denies the allegations.

Moreover, Giuffre’s brother highlighted that she would have felt proud of the attention brought to their situation. “All the years of work that she put in is now coming to some sort of justice,” he said. Giuffre took her own life earlier this year, which adds to the somber atmosphere surrounding these events.

Prince Andrew now faces diminished royal duties and may continue to reside at his Windsor home, Royal Lodge, which he has on a private lease until 2078.
