Vivo has announced the launch of its latest smartphone, the V40e, in India. The newest addition to the V40 series is characterized by its advanced camera capabilities and powerful specifications. The device is now available for purchase on various platforms including the Vivo India e-store, Flipkart, and partner retail outlets.

The Vivo V40e is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor and boasts a substantial 5,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. This power combination promises efficient performance and longer usage durations without frequent charging interruptions.

One of the standout features of the Vivo V40e is its photographic capabilities. It sports a main camera with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor and optical image stabilization, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. The front camera is equally impressive with a 50MP sensor, allowing users to capture high-resolution selfies. Both cameras support 4K video recording, enhancing the smartphone’s appeal to photography enthusiasts.

Designed for durability, the smartphone has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. It is also equipped with Schott Up Glass protection and incorporates “Wet Touch” technology, ensuring functionality even in moist conditions.

In terms of user interface, the Vivo V40e operates on FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14. Vivo commits to delivering three years of software updates and four years of security patches, guaranteeing a secure and updated user experience over time.

The device is available in two color variants: Royal Bronze and Mint Green. The pricing is set at ₹28,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, and ₹30,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option. The company is also offering introductory discounts and bonuses for purchases made with SBI and HDFC cards, along with no-cost EMI options.

The Vivo V40e is now available for pre-booking, with official sales commencing on October 2. Aside from online platforms, several offline offers include cashback and extended warranty options, making it an attractive option for potential buyers seeking value along with cutting-edge technology.
