The Weeknd Announces New Australian Tour Dates

Exciting news for fans in Australia as chart-topping artist The Weeknd has just announced new tour dates for his long-awaited performances down under. The Blinding Lights singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, had to cancel his originally planned tour last year.

After months of anticipation, The Weeknd has revealed that he will be kicking off his Australia leg of the After Hours Til Dawn tour on October 5 and 6 at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne. Following that, he will perform two nights at Accor Stadium in Sydney on October 22 and 23.

The Weeknd expressed his excitement on social media, saying, “AUSTRALIA, I didn’t forget about you 🖤 See you in October.” If you’re hoping to catch him live, mark your calendars—ticket presales start on August 22.

Fans who previously had tickets for the canceled shows will get a special chance to purchase tickets during the Past Purchaser Presale starting on August 21. For this presale, fans need to register beforehand to gain access.

These upcoming concerts will be The Weeknd’s first stadium performances in Australia and his first visit to the country since 2017. He’ll also be joined by Mike Dean and Chxrry22 as support acts throughout the tour.

<pMoreover, fans should note that part of the ticket sales will go towards the XO Humanitarian Fund, which supports efforts to combat global hunger. So, when you buy a ticket, you’re also contributing to an important cause.
