WASHINGTON, D.C. — First Lady Melania Trump has announced the release of her audiobook, “Melania: The AI Audiobook,” narrated entirely by an artificial intelligence replica of her voice. This innovative project aims to represent a new era in publishing and was revealed on May 22, 2025.

In a post on X, Trump stated, “I am honored to bring you Melania – The AI Audiobook – narrated entirely using artificial intelligence in my own voice. Let the future of publishing begin.” The audiobook, which runs for 7 hours and 1 minute, is currently available in English for $25. Additional foreign language versions are set to release later this year.

The AI-generated voice was created by ElevenLabs, a technology company specializing in AI audio research, under Trump’s direction and supervision. Trump emphasized that her story is told from her own perspective in this audiobook, stating, “My story. My perspective. The truth,” in a promotional clip.

The memoir, originally released in October 2024, details Trump’s life from her upbringing in Slovenia, her career in high fashion, to her marriage with President Donald Trump. It also touches on her views including her support for abortion rights.

During a recent appearance in Washington, Trump participated in signing the “Take It Down Act,” a law aimed at addressing nonconsensual intimate imagery. She described artificial intelligence and social media as “digital candy” and expressed concern about their negative impact on youth.

Narrated in her own voice, the audiobook adds a personal touch to her memoir, and her collaboration with ElevenLabs has garnered considerable attention. Their CEO, Mati Staniszewski, expressed excitement over the partnership, emphasizing the significance of creating this audiobook for a global audience.
