Business Mogul Dangote Names Major Road After Late Banking Icon Herbert Wigwe

Nigerian business mogul and founder of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has chosen to honor the memory of the late banking icon, Herbert Wigwe, in a unique and lasting manner.

During a moving tribute by professionals, Dangote announced his decision to name a significant road leading to the Dangote Refinery after the late Herbert Wigwe, in a gesture of respect and remembrance.

This decision by Aliko Dangote to immortalize Herbert Wigwe comes as a poignant tribute to their friendship and the legacy that Wigwe left behind in the business world.

Herbert Wigwe, the esteemed group CEO of Access Bank, tragically lost his life in a helicopter crash in the United States, alongside his wife Doreen Wigwe, son Chizi Wigwe, and Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former group chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group Plc.

By dedicating a major road at the Dangote Refinery to Herbert Wigwe, Aliko Dangote has ensured that the memory of this banking icon will be preserved and honored for generations to come.
