Jonathan Groff to Perform Hits from Just in Time on The Tonight Show

NEW YORK, NY – Jonathan Groff is set to appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on September 18 to perform a selection of songs from his latest Broadway role in the biomusical Just in Time.
Just in Time recounts the life of 1950s singer Bobby Darin, showcasing his most beloved tracks, including “Beyond the Sea,” “Splish Splash,” and “Mack the Knife.” Groff will be accompanied by a live band from the musical, which is currently playing at Circle in the Square Theatre.
The production has garnered attention for its ensemble cast, featuring Tony-winning talents from previous hit shows. Groff is fresh off a Tony Award win for Merrily We Roll Along and has also starred in acclaimed productions like Spring Awakening and Hamilton.
Just in Time began performances on March 31, 2025, and opened to critical acclaim on April 26, 2025. Despite being nominated for six Tony Awards this season, including nominations for Groff and fellow cast member Michael Lawrence, the show did not win any awards.
Directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers, Just in Time is further enhanced by contributions from notable artists in lighting, sound, and scenic design. The character of Bobby Darin is brought to life by Groff and his fellow performers in a production designed to reflect the highs and lows of the legendary vocalist’s career.
Tickets for Just in Time are currently on sale through January 11, 2026, making it one of the hottest tickets on Broadway right now. Fans of the show and Broadway enthusiasts are encouraged to tune in to hear Groff’s special performance on The Tonight Show.
