JoSAA 2024 Counselling Registration Commences for IITs, NITs, and Other Institutes
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has officially started the registration process for the academic year 2024-25, enabling aspiring students to secure admissions in prestigious institutions like IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and other-GFTIs. The registration portal is now live on the JoSAA website, welcoming candidates to kickstart their journey towards quality education in the engineering domain.
For candidates who qualify the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT), a specialized choice-filling phase dedicated to AAT participants is scheduled to open on June 14. This step will allow AAT qualifiers to specify their preferences tailored to their architecture study interests following the declaration of AAT results.
JoSAA has laid out a comprehensive counselling plan comprising five rounds for seat allocation across various renowned institutes. During this process, candidates will have the opportunity to confirm their allotted seats by selecting from options such as freeze, float, or slide, depending on their preferences and desired outcomes. The first allotment results are set to be announced on June 20, marking the commencement of a crucial phase in the admission process.
Post the first allotment, the subsequent rounds of seat allocation will proceed as per the JoSAA schedule, with the second allotment list slated for release on June 27, and the third on July 4. The fourth and fifth rounds are scheduled for July 10 and July 17, respectively, ensuring a transparent and structured process for students seeking admissions in leading engineering institutes across the country.
As the registration process goes live, interested candidates are urged to visit the official JoSAA website and navigate to the relevant section for ‘Registration and Choice Filling for JoSAA 2024.’ By entering their login credentials and submitting the required details, students can actively participate in the counselling process and secure their desired stream and institute.
