Kerala Plus Two Result 2024 Declared by DHSE: Pass Percentage at 78.69%

The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) recently announced the Kerala Plus Two Result 2024, revealing the outcome of the Class 12 examinations held between March 1st and March 26th, 2024. Students can now check their scorecards on the official website, keralaresults.nic.in, by entering their registration number, password, and date of birth.

The pass percentage for the Kerala Class 12 exams stood at 78.69%, with a total of 374,755 students appearing for the exams. Out of these, 294,888 students are deemed eligible for higher education. The supplementary exams for those who did not qualify for higher education will take place from June 12 to June 20.

In the Higher Secondary level exams, there were a total of 2017 exam centers, while in the Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE) sector, 380 exam centers were set up across the state. The pass rate is a crucial indicator of the education standards in the state, emphasizing the importance of quality secondary education.

Students are required to score a minimum of 35% in each individual subject as well as an overall minimum of 35% to pass the Kerala Class 12 exams. The pass percentage has fluctuated over the years, with the 2023 result showing an 82.95% pass rate. The education board’s efforts in conducting fair and transparent examinations are commendable.

Last year, the Kerala Department of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) declared the Kerala Plus Two Result 2024 on May 25, with nearly 4.5 lakh students participating. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 82.95%, reflecting the dedicated efforts of both students and educators in achieving academic success in the state.
