Multiple Casino Projects Break Ground and Near Completion Across the US
In recent days, several significant developments have been announced and celebrated in the US casino industry. In California, the Ione Band of Miwoks held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Acorn Ridge Casino, a boutique casino located 30 miles southeast of Sacramento. This new casino is part of a broader expansion of gaming facilities in the region.
In Wisconsin, the Ho-Chunk Nation marked the beginning of construction on a $405 million casino, hotel, and conference center in Beloit. The groundbreaking celebration took place on October 25, 2024, and the project is expected to bring significant economic and employment opportunities to the area.
Oklahoma is also seeing new developments, with the Muscogee Nation planning to break ground on the $100 million Coweta Casino Hotel in early November 2024. This project will add to the state’s growing casino landscape and provide additional amenities for visitors.
In Virginia, Caesars Virginia is nearing completion and is on track to open by the end of 2024. The $750 million project in Danville has been progressing as scheduled, according to local officials. Additionally, the Hard Rock Casino Bristol lit up its iconic 45-foot-tall guitar in anticipation of its grand opening in November.
Other notable developments include the grand opening of the WarHorse Lincoln Casino in Nebraska, scheduled for November 4, 2024, and the opening of a new Wahlburgers restaurant at Gold Country Casino in Northern California.
