The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam held between January 24 and February 1 can now check their results on the official website – jeemain.nta.ac.in.

A total of 11,70,036 candidates took the Paper 1 (BE/BTech) test, while 55,493 candidates appeared for the Paper 2 (BArch, BPlanning) examination. The NTA conducted the exam across 544 centres in 291 cities, including 21 international locations.

Following the release of the provisional answer key, candidates will have the opportunity to raise objections if they find any discrepancies in the answer to the exam. To do so, candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of rupees 200 per question.

The final answer key for JEE Main 2024 session 1 will be released alongside the results. The NTA will evaluate answers based on the finalized key. Candidates can expect their rank numbers to be issued on February 12, 2024.

The JEE Main exam saw a significant turnout with 95.8% of registered candidates appearing for the Paper 1 test. This consistent trend of high participation shows the importance of the exam in the education sector.

For those who are planning to appear for the JEE Main 2024 session 2, the application process begins on February 2 and ends on March 2, 2024. Candidates must complete their online submissions before 11:00 P.M., and online payment of the application fee is due by 11:50 P.M. on the same date.
