Pokémon Legends: Z-A Spoilers Leak Ahead of Release

REDMOND, Wash. — With just one week until the official launch of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, fans are raising concerns about online spoilers. Datamined information is leaking online, revealing details about new Mega Pokémon set to appear in the game.
Slated for release on October 16 for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, early copies of the game have reportedly surfaced. IGN confirmed that datamining is actively taking place, extracting secrets before the game’s official launch.
The Pokémon Company has only unveiled a few of the new Mega Pokémon that will be featured. An earlier leak suggested several Mega Evolutions yet to be confirmed, but fresh evidence hints that even more Pokémon may be included than initially anticipated.
In light of this, Pokémon fans are urging others who want to avoid spoilers to be cautious while browsing online in the coming days. Some fans recommend logging off social media altogether. IGN has stated it will not spoil any new species in its coverage.
Set in the Kalos region, known for its Mega Pokémon, Pokémon Legends: Z-A will introduce several new Mega Evolutions, such as Mega Dragonite, Mega Victreebel, Mega Hawlucha, and Mega Malamar. After launch, the game will also allow players to unlock Mega Evolutions for each of the three fully-evolved Starter Pokémon—Delphox, Greninja, and Chesnaught—via online play.
Moreover, a paid DLC will be available that adds two new Mega Evolutions for Raichu, raising the total cost of obtaining the game, DLC, and a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to over $100.
As the launch date approaches, fans are left to wonder how many new Mega Evolutions will be included in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
