Powerball jackpot soars to $168 million; next drawing on April 28

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Powerball jackpot has reached an estimated $168 million for the drawing on Saturday, April 26, 2025, with a cash option of $77.6 million. This surge follows a recent drawing where no one matched all six winning numbers.
The winning numbers for Saturday night’s drawing were 1, 12, 14, 18, 69, with the Powerball number being 2 and the Power Play multiplier at 3X. No tickets matched all six numbers, allowing the jackpot to grow further.
Players need to match at least one number to win a prize, with a single Powerball worth $4 if correctly matched. The odds of winning the jackpot stand at approximately 1 in 292.2 million. In many cases, matching two regular numbers will not yield a prize unless one of those numbers is the Powerball.
Powerball drawings occur three times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at approximately 10:59 p.m. ET. Tickets cost $2 each, while an additional $1 can be paid to add the Power Play feature, increasing the prize amounts for non-jackpot winnings.
Players can also opt for the Double Play feature for an extra dollar, allowing for a second chance to win a $10 million prize. The next Powerball drawing is set for Monday, April 28. To participate, players can purchase tickets at various locations, including convenience stores and gas stations, or online in select states.
The $168 million jackpot is one of several notable prizes currently available, as the Mega Millions lottery also boasts an estimated $70 million jackpot for its upcoming drawing.
