Sky Sports+ Launch

Sky Sports has announced the launch of Sky Sports+, a new addition to its service that provides sports fans with access to more live sports events at no additional cost. This enhancement, available during the 2024/25 season, allows viewers to watch matches from the Bristol Street Motors Trophy and the Carabao Cup live through Sky Sports+ on Sky TV, NOW TV, and the Sky Sports app.

The new Sky Sports+ service promises to deliver over 50% more sports events this year, providing extensive coverage of the English Football League (EFL) with over 1,000 games from the Championship, League One, and League Two. Additionally, every Carabao Cup and Bristol Street Motors Trophy fixture will be broadcasted live.

Beyond football, Sky Sports+ will cater to fans of other sports as well. Rugby league enthusiasts can enjoy complete coverage of the Super League, while tennis fans will have access to the ATP and WTA Tours as well as the US Open taking place from August 26 to September 9.

Existing Sky Sports subscribers will find the service seamlessly integrated into their current subscriptions, accessible on platforms such as Sky Glass, Sky Stream, Sky Q, and NOW. Viewers can also enjoy the convenience of streaming on mobile devices through the Sky Sports app.

In addition to these offerings, Sky is providing an exclusive promotion for new customers, which includes Sky TV in Ultra HD and Netflix, bundled with Sky Sports+, for a monthly fee of £43. Non-Sky subscribers are equally catered for with options to purchase access to Sky Sports channels, including on-demand features.

Sky Sports+ aims to enhance the overall viewer experience by providing personalized features that allow users to follow their favorite teams and competitions closely, ensuring easy access to their preferred matches and events.
