Police Motorcycle Crash Southlake Texas

DALLAS, TX — Two officers from the Southlake Police Department were injured in separate motorcycle crashes Monday afternoon. The first incident occurred along East Southlake Boulevard when a motorcycle officer, responding to a report of a fight, collided with a car that pulled out in front of him.

Video footage from Texas Sky Ranger captured the motorcycle on its side, heavily damaged in the middle of the road. The officer was subsequently transported to Baylor Scott and White Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.

The second officer, driving a Tahoe SUV, was involved in another crash nearby, just a block away, when a vehicle failed to yield the right of way near Byron Nelson Parkway. This officer was treated on the scene and released with minor injuries.

According to police statements, both officers had their emergency lights and sirens activated at the time of their respective incidents. No injuries were reported among other drivers involved in the crashes.

Authorities are investigating the incidents further, looking into the circumstances surrounding both crashes to ensure proper accountability.
