Tennis Channel Itf Partnership News

BRISBANE, Australia — Tennis Channel announced an extension of its partnership with the International Tennis Federation (ITF) to broadcast the Billie Jean King Cup and Davis Cup through 2027 and 2028, respectively. This agreement reinforces Tennis Channel’s role as the exclusive U.S. broadcaster for both tournaments.

The new multi-year deal was announced on August 4, 2025, and increases Tennis Channel’s international reach. Besides the U.S., the agreement now includes broadcast rights in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the UK, while Spain joins the lineup as a new market for the Billie Jean King Cup.

David Haggerty, president of the ITF, expressed enthusiasm about the long-standing relationship. “For many years, Tennis Channel has helped bring the World Cup of Tennis to millions of people around the world,” he said. “This extension is great news for both Billie Jean King Cup and Davis Cup.”

Jeff Blackburn, chairman and CEO of Tennis Channel, emphasized the importance of these tournaments, calling them “iconic events” within their annual programming. “We can’t wait for this next chapter with them,” he stated. “Together we want to shine as much light as we can on the history and passion surrounding the cups.”

Kerstin Lutz, CEO of Billie Jean King Cup Limited, noted the significance of expanding their partnership with Tennis Channel. “We’re proud to strengthen our partnership, particularly in key international markets where women’s tennis continues to flourish,” she said.

The Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup are recognized as the largest annual international team competitions in tennis. They provide a platform for national teams to compete at various levels throughout the year.

The upcoming 2025 Billie Jean King Cup finals will be held in Shenzhen, China, from September 16-21, while the Davis Cup finals are set for November 18-23 in Bologna, Italy.
