Brie Larson Visits Iconic Casa Bonita Restaurant in Colorado
LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Academy Award-winning actress Brie Larson has recently made an appearance at Casa Bonita, an iconic restaurant located in Colorado. The “Captain Marvel” star shared a photo of herself enjoying root beer on tap in the restaurant’s nostalgic game room via social media platform X on Tuesday, exciting fans and followers alike.
The actress is known for her roles in “Avengers: Endgame” and “Captain Marvel”, for which she gained significant worldwide recognition. In the post, Larson expressed her surprise and delight, writing, “Root beer… on tap?!!” along with a photo of herself at the location.
Casa Bonita, once closed for years, was revived last year after undergoing extensive renovations. It is now under the ownership of “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The duo invested in its restoration, reportedly spending $40 million to bring the iconic venue back to its former glory.
Brie Larson, 35, who won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the 2015 film “Room“, continues to impress audiences with her versatile choice of roles. In addition to her blockbuster appearances, she has starred in “Kong: Skull Island”, “Trainwreck“, “21 Jump Street“, and “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World“.
The reopening of Casa Bonita has attracted several high-profile celebrities. Last year, musician Ed Sheeran visited the restaurant just before his record-breaking concert in Denver. Similarly, Robert Smith from “The Cure” and skateboard legend Tony Hawk have also been spotted enjoying the unique charm of the establishment.
The recent renovations and the reopening of Casa Bonita were also featured in the documentary “¡Casa Bonita Mi Amor!”, which is available on Paramount Plus, providing viewers with an inside look at the transformation of this beloved Colorado landmark.
