Penn State University: Location and Overview
Penn State University, formally known as The Pennsylvania State University, is located in the state of Pennsylvania. The main campus, often referred to as University Park, is situated in Centre County, in the central part of the state. This campus is the largest and most well-known of Penn State’s various locations and serves as the flagship campus of the university.
In addition to the University Park campus, Penn State has several other campuses spread across Pennsylvania, including Penn State Harrisburg, Penn State Behrend, and others. These campuses offer a range of academic programs and serve students from different regions of the state.
The University Park campus is home to many of the university’s academic, research, and administrative facilities, including the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Beaver Stadium, one of the largest stadiums in the country.
